First-Time Homebuyer Workshops
NKCDC conducts free workshops sponsored by the PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) to help those interested in buying a home. These workshops are open to all and are frequently required to receive housing grants or assistance.
Topics range from selecting a realtor to getting inspections. Housing experts present, including PHFA lenders, realtors, insurance agents, and home inspection agents. NKCDC housing staff are available to answer all questions.
Workshops are offered two times a month in different locations.
If you are unable to attend one of the free workshops this year, you can take eHome America's eight-hour certified online course.
Note: these workshops are not part of the NeighborhoodLIFT program.
